The year 2003 marks Kibbutz
Kfar Masaryk’s 70th year. The total population of
the kibbutz: 580 inhabitants, of whom 370 are members, 140
children, and 63 temporary residents. The Kibbutz, whose first
members immigrated from Lithuania and Czechoslovakia in
1932-1933, was founded in 1933. It was settled at its present
location, south of Akko in 1938. The Kibbutz bears the name of
Professor Tomáš Garigue Masaryk, the founder and
first president of Czechoslovakia |
