because I am interested in history of the Czechoslovak assistance to the Israeli Air Force in 1948, I am looking for relatives of two interesting men (junior and senior)of Czechoslovak origin named PICKL or/and PICHEL (or something like that) where one of them should have living in kibbutz Kfar Masaryk in interwar period. After WW 2, both of them should have temporarily coming back to Czechoslovakia and were participating in delivery of war material from Czechoslovakia to Israel in 1948: they as employees of Czechoslovak forwarding company "INTRASPED" worked at a Czechoslovak military airfield near Zatec (Operation Balak) in charge of supply logistics. I would like to welcome any info re above mentioned men (incl. their full and correct name and surname, their post-war life fates in Czechoslovakia as well as in Israel. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing from someone of you.

| I am a swedish woman who was a volunteer from april 1984 to january 1985. I worked in the dining room and in the school kitchen. I remember Leah who was volunteer leader and Zvi who took us on trips. I also remember Boas who lived in the kibbutz and Tamara who was a soldier and Vicky, Elspeth, Chris and Stuart who where volunteer from UK. Where are you all?

| What fond memories i have from my time on the kibbutz. I was there in 1990 / 1991. I wonder if the red tractor that i used to drive is still around, what fun i had. I remember the sealed rooms we lived in waiting for the missles to arrive. We never really felt in danger. Just felt it was the right thing to do by staying with our friends on the kibbutz. Salom to all the good people of kfar Masaryk, and the many good people I meet from around the world. I often think of Israel and I will always admire her people |

| I lived on the kibbutz for most of 1997. I worked in the diningroom with Jamila and then in the Kol-bo for 6 months. Kfar Masaryk is like a magical place, trapped in time, untouched by the rest of the world. I still keep in touch with many friends around the world. Ive been to Denmark and Canada to visit friends from the Kibbutz and some have come to South Africa to see me. It is as an amazing place that cannot be duplicated anywhere else. We were together in Hashomer Hatzair in Aust. with David and Mona of Beth Zera. My son Gil goes into the IDF next year. I served in Yom Kippur 1973.
